Graphic problem

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Just to add to this - I've found that forcing FXAA on works OK (it's only a post-processing effect, really, rather than true AA) which helps to smooth things off a bit.

You could try adding OptiFine (but beware, it may cause other anomalies so you'll need to disable it before submitting bug reports or anything; you'll need to disable FastCraft to get it to work) which has an Anti-Aliasing option in Video Settings. It doesn't do anything for me but it may work for you.

If you've got a beast of a graphics card (video memory is the main thing - my old 1GB card just can't handle it despite being fast enough processing-wise for some reasonably fancy shader packs), you could use OptiFine's shaders pipeline. Even if you don't want to change the appearance by using a shader pack, you can use the built-in shaders and increase the render quality setting, which is similar to supersampling (SSAA). Before I ran out of video RAM and ground to a juddering halt, I noticed that the game felt silky-smooth compared with the normal rendering pipeline.
