74 I worked a bit on the "real" implementation of the protocol from a few days back.
Apparently the serialEvent() function triggers per character and not per message, which is kind of odd.
(I need to use an usb connection for now as I don't yet have the tools yet to totally create the setup)

74 well...first bit is done. I can send a string of 5 bits which gets translated into a 4 bit number.
(the fifth bit is to make sure nothing went wrong when I make the switch to the real setup)
