19 when they made evolution they didn't had an animation team for the 2d side of the cartoon. They still wanted to make a new season so they decided to just go with that, all in all not a bad desision one might think, but they ran out of money when making it.

They did manage to make the whole season but the company doesn't exist anymore and it will probably never get aired in English.

I just "love" the fact that they where unable to get someone with the same color hair as odd had in the cartoon but managed to do it "right" with Aelita >_>
