Then the only thing I can recommend is building a small, illuminated platform above the ground in a plains or desert biome, and placing a block immediately above your head in the center of the platform. Then, camp out there all night and stare down any endermen you see, so they teleport to you.

Might also be a good idea to bring a bow, in case any pesky skeletons try shooting at you.

44 It's a lot harder if your best weapon is made out of flint But I got a one from my first Enderman :3

43 its also a lot harder when you have zombies and skeletons with 100 life, 10%speed boost and other stuff like that >_>

I also have the feeling they spawn in a lot bigger groups then normal, some time ago I was in a cave and every time I looked behind me there was a creeper ready to explode, it was worse then that witchery curse >_<

but of course ender man spawn alone

42 there's a mod which makes creepers be sneaky bastards, just stay behind you and when you turn around they explode, otherwise they just STAY there.
