Another thing I hate about monkey is that you can select for what it will be compiled which will change to language it will compile into but you can not change that, thus if you want to make a desktop application and compile it into java you can not, however if you want it for android don't be afraid as that is your only option. To make it even more stupid you can open java files, c++ files and javascript files into the IDE I have not tested it but I wouldn't be surprised if it translates them to monkey code.
