I have the same bonds as everyone. There are 2 types of flows, you have the green one that is created by the world itself, those are used to gain energy to live or to ask for help if no one seems to be near.
You also have the ones you see right now, Normally those are hidden for most creatures however this makes them harder to read and understand, something we can't use right now. These are used to communicate with each other without the need of sound, every creature has this even you.

50 Where we're from we don't have bright flows of light. Probably an evolutionary advantage when slews began to hunt us down. We used magical aura, probably only visible to our species, to communicate between one another. But I guess since we have stayed here for a while, we might have gotten them back. Wait... Dad...
