Maybe you should test first if the water is clean as right now the whole world seems dead and rotting, I doubt the water is clean.

well...., great. I also feel no sign of any form of usable energy to get us out of here or any sign of other life *sees a piece of broken bone*, let me rephrase that: any sign of life that is not dead.

I have my magic book but it is useless without black or red mana, something that doesn't seem to exist anymore, just like other forms of energy.

I guess I could perform a dark ritual to get some black mana but it would require your death and it is not much and it will not exist for long.
