61 well it kind of is one of the reasons why an hive mind is better then just disconnected minds. It gives even more benefits when you are the one controlling the hive mind as this will allow me to shape the creatures that use it, shape it to my will and make them all perfect.

Have you read the Ender's Game series? They explicitly state why a species of individual minds is better than a hive mind.

that is indeed a reason why a bad designed hive mind is worse then individual minds.
