52 Either, my desktop ended up overheating today or.... the GPU is dieing (or both).

Reason: It suddenly locked up during a game of MTG Arena. And not a normal lock up either but it decided to stop giving video output of any kind. It was so bad that my monitors thought my desktop had shutdown and they entered sleep mode as a result.

I wish I knew the ip address of it at the time because I'm VERY curious if I could still connect with SSH to it.

Also, there where some graphical glitches on MTG Arena, but I originally wrote them down as just wine being wine. So.... I guess its going to be an interesting weekend for me that may result in me getting a new AMD GPU.

And no, I don't care how much more performance I could get out of an NVidea GPU. I don't play GPU intensive games and I rather not have to deal with the pain that is installing a proprietary GPU Driver on Debian EVER again.

53 Yeah, I don't disagree. I'm running nVidia, but I'm on windows so I can actually use the drivers. I wouldn't do so if I was running Linux.

54 Well, I need to pay more attention to homework. Twice yesterday I got assignments finished and turned in 5 minutes before they were due.

53. My oldest now has to do his maths homework online. Its a bit weird. Last week, he got one question wrong because he didn't realise he'd forgotten to click the next box before he wrote the answer, so he had one question where he'd written the right answer followed the the next right answer (two 3 digit numbers) as one 6 digit number. I felt really sorry for him when I saw that, because he got them both right, but the first one was marked as wrong!

51. That's a good way to do it.

Just been writing a mineralogical analysis report for some archaeological samples - makes a difference from the usual geological ones!
