52 There is a lot of pressure to be in a relationship these days - I say do what makes you happy. I've been with my wife since we were teenagers so I've never known any different really but I must admit - the thought of dating scares the bejesus out if me

Well said. I was pretty chuffed for him actually - they spent the time together going to christmas fairs, having dinner, playing games, watching youtube, and just enjoying each other's company - no pressure, just reaffirming and strengthening their friendship. It sounded lovely That's one thing I've found about full-time work, marriage and kids, is that my wife and I really don't get much time to just hang out together. I know its sounds like something off a motivational poster, but it really is important to be happy in yourself, and who you are.
I've never really "dated", per se. I got out of a 6 year relationship, had 6 months of rebuilding my self-worth and confidence, and becoming happy with myself as a person, and then ended up meeting my future wife at an engagement party of our mutual friends! We got married the following year, had kids the year after, and that was that. Now I've got 2 cheeky monkeys, a dog and 2 cats, and (touch wood) a mortgage on the way if that all goes through. Adulting.
What can I say, enjoy your youth Be who you want to be, do what you want to do, and be happy.
EDIT: speaking of solicitors, I just had a call re the mortgage application and I think I gave them the wrong info so now I'm panicking and argh and oh my god adulting sucks
50. This school that I got to has this weird rule that you have to get a C to advance to the next year, which is strange because it isn't even an exam year...
52 meanwhile, I need to write a program for school that divides pixels into N groups based on their color. Then, it needs to repaint the image with the averages of each color from each group.
Problem: It takes a good while to run and though it seems to work, there are some very odd cases.
For example, test4.jpg became edited-test4.jpg and should have 5 groups. However, I think only 2 groups ended up with a color?
Something similair happened with test6->edited-test6.jpg. As that one also should have 5 groups.
And though edited-mtg.jpg has the correct amount of colors, they....are odd.
The real problem I am facing is that I can explain why edited-mtg.jpg ended up like that so that being odd doesn't necessary mean my code is wrong. (Just that the starting groups are unfortunate)
As for number 4 and 6. The original of 4 did have a lot of green, so its to be expected that at the end it came out as mostly green. But that doesn't explain why it looks like it ended up with only 2 groups?
And number 6 seemed to have ended up with only 4 groups (I may be wrong).
Also, edited-test5.png and edited-test3.png both have been set to generate 4 groups and did in fact make 4 reasonable groups. Thus it is at least partially working?
Maybe I need to make it that the starting points for each group need to have a certain difference that is bigger than not the same?
(also, if you think edited-test2.png looks odd as it contains 2 purely black squares where it should have been a mix between black and red. That got fixed since I last ran it on that file)
And... I just reran it on mtg.jpg giving it 4 groups to play with. I now ended up with it becoming the colors white, brown, light brown and lighter brown. I think its safe to say that I need to pick my starting points better.
51 It's hard to tell from the thumbnail, but edited-test4.jpg looks like it has more than 2 groups, can't tell exactly how many though. At least 3 or 4, maybe the full 5.
