He does not agree with Erindal as in his eyes light was the most valuable thing there is but he remains silent while he listens to what Edward said about this "alchemy" it wasn't something Xar heard of before and he wasn't sure if he wanted to know more about it.

Xar also decided to not ask anything about this apparent good side of alchemy. He reasoned that it was best to play it safe when it comes to potential forbidden knowledge.
