84 I still think that's a stupid rule. I mean people have been saying "up" or "down" or anything really just to have something there to avoid the penalty which is pretty much same difference. Sometimes you have nothing to say and just want to post to keep it going.

And I kinda want to make my own GVE thread with a scaling mechanic. Like there's an overall fight of good versus evil and each count is a battle. After a battle, a larger number goes up, which is the status of the war. So if good wins, the war number goes from 50 to 51. When that war ends, the planet's alignment number changes along the same path. If good wins a planet, it becomes "unified" and goes into a total of unified planets. If evil wins a planet it becomes "chaotic" and goes into a total of chaotic planets.

Lore-wise, when order becomes universal, then nothing really changes or progresses, but everyone lives out their short lives in peace. Boring peace bust still peace. If it becomes chaotic, there's no order at all and people freely kill, steal, rape, whatever with no consequence.

EDIT: oh, and I want to make a neutral alignment. There's the Axis of Anarchy, the Legion of Light, and the Entity of Equality. AoA wants no government, no order, they want people to do what they want when they want without fear of consequence. The Legion of Light is more extreme than it sounds. They want to eliminate crime by making punishments super harsh. Like death penalty harsh. 10 years prison for jaywalking harsh. It keeps the peace but it stops progress. The Entity of Equality is a group dedicated to stopping either group from winning. How that works is if the count is at fifty, they can make a bid for fortification. How that works is they post like 50-1 then 50-2 and when it reaches ten, it becomes a fortified world. These worlds are left to run themselves without the influence of any party. The EoE fights against the winning party and helps build up the defences in a city so the locals can defend themselves. In the war, that brings the planet two points closer to 50, or builds up the planet's fortification if it reaches 50.

85 But order and good are not the same thing. Same for chaos and evil. For example criminal organisations, they are very evil in nature (drugs, killing, etc.) but they do have order to their structure (jobs, roles & bosses, management chain).
