(oh, and by the way, I managed to find my DF adventurer some food. I was walking out to a slightly more distant town than those I'd previously gone to, and I ran into some camels. The first two I tried to stab ran away, but I managed to incapacitate the third by sprinting and jumping on it, which stunned it for long enough that I could stab it enough with my cheapo Elven wooden sword that it went unconscious, and eventually bled out. Then I butchered it on the spot. Meanwhile, the three other camels right next to it the whole time ignored me entirely.)
