It will not help. On the right side is 4 diffent plants (blue yellow black and the last). They have been mixed becuase there should only be the black plant on that row.
The golems on the left and right is harvesting and replanting. The golem in the middle is collecting everything.

What I mean is, you may need both plant and gather golems all in their own fenced in areas where they can't plant beans in the carrot area, etc.

I don't do TC4 much, but unless there's an upgrade to make them "smarter", that's going to be your only solution.

I see what you mean.... But it will cost a lot of golems for all the farms :(

Well you can specify what types of seed the harvester will plant so you could just make multiple golems and have them work on their own little patch. Either use golems with low vision or use paving stones of warding to keep them out of one another's patches. But with that setup the gather golem will not be able to get the stuff on the ground, you would have to use more gather golems or some kind of vacuum type thing.

The Thaumcraft addon Automagy has lots of new ways to control golems, not sure if any of it would solve your problem but its worth a look.

Clear 2 blocks tall under the farm, fill the first one with water and the second just under your farm with lilypad of fertility. Now it grows so fast that it look awesome even if the colors mixed.

Wait that was not the question ? XD

The problem with the harvest golem with the order upgrade is that it does not replant what it just harvested, but instead will replant whatever is near the golem. If the results of a previous harvest haven't been picked up and are still on the ground, the harvest golem may use those items to replant instead of what it just harvested.
