"place" sticks and pick them up again (think crash landing auto-sieve)

yea, I build something like that before in crash landing, but I can't remember anymore how I did it exactly.
I know VSWE posted some videos about sieving builds in crash landing, but I still don't really know how I'm supposed to do it.

This is interesting and I've watched autosieve videos but using a block gate to "place" a stick on the trophy doesn't right click the trophy as far as I can tell. Are you sure this works?

EDIT: Ah ha, the trophy has to be 2 blocks away from the block gate placing the stick in order to produce a right click event!

I think ratchet means that when it tries to pick it back up it acts as a click
no the block gate right clicks the item on the block 2 in front as if trying to place the item

If done on a block with a right click event (where you have to sneak to place) it does the right click on the block

Umm okay...this is now bordering on total insanity. I'm using a block gate to whack the trophy with a stick like a pinata instead of the AA (thanks ratchet freak) and I'm using a redstone trigger to run basically once per tick instead of every second. A single trophy is now spitting out a block of gold every 8 seconds!

Forge tps shows this device adds around 0.5 ms to this dimension's tick time so yeah it is pretty heavy weight compared to everything else that I do.

and I've finally figured it out how to do this build with SFM only and have it so you can easily expand it.
currently the build looks like this...

my apologies for the messy manager, I had to do some tests and trials to figure out the most efficient command chain
this build with 9 block gates up and 9 block gates down easily creates 2 blocks of gold per second, and as mentioned, you can expand it even more. there's a single rapid item valve in the bottom block gates, and as you can see it's all build with advanced cable clusters so you do not need to run any extra cables to hook up all the block gates

though one downside with this build, an error seems to be getting spammed in the console

2 blocks of gold per second. I'd say we've abused these poor statues more than the mod author ever imagined anyone would. I'm playing ME^4 and it was amazingly gratifying to plunk down my cow statue and get 30 leather in 2 seconds. Just a little easier than parcel had intended I'm sure!

I love how easy you can expand this build to make it even more overpowered than it already is :p

the big pain now though is to actually get these trophies ingame, which can be a pain if you don't have an autospawner setup

sadly this doesn't seem to work in 1.7.10 anymore
I tried rebuilding this setup in Infinity Expert 2.2.2, but it seems that everytime SFM places and breaks a trophy, the broken trophy gets different data, and if you place down that trophy with the different data, it'll no longer drop nuggets when right-clicked no matter what.
