I recall "Redstone Energy Conduits have energy loss, but it's not distance based" being on the TE wiki. I also recall that they have a flat 5% loss of energy for transferring energy though them. No matter how long the conduit setup, it will only lose 5%, even if you manage to set it up with only a two block distance, you lose 5% of your energy with them. Or you could transfer power through thousands of them between your base and your quarries, and still only lose 5% of your power.

But as stated many times so far, they will not explode. That alone makes them worth using. If you can't afford to set up gates and pipewire, you can at least prevent things from exploding.

This is one thing that gets me. And one of the resons I moved away form BC pipes for power.

So the gates can detect all sorts of states. You can have a wall of machines and use a dozen gates to check each one and shut down your engines when power is no longer need.

But you can't have a gate just detect when the pipe is overflowing and shut down? That just boggles me that it not a dectectable option in gates. If you watch your pipes you will see the build up always happens at the same place. It would make make much more sense to have a gate detect this build up and shut down the system instead of testing multiple machines for there power/work states.

Redstone conduits loose 5% on every distance, gold loose 0.1 every block (not 100% sure)

and conduits can accept 10000 mj.

Can't place facades on redstone conduits.

Use Immibis microblocks, they work on pipes, conduits, EU cables, lead cables, liquidutcs, AE transport cables...
