Glenn's Gasses with Monster

I have been trying to add Glenn's Gases to the Monster pack. From what I have read, Glenn's Gases was not intended to be added to modpacks. When I do add it, it doesn't even register to exist. No crash, no weird tabs, nothing. It may very well be the id conflicts but I would expect a crash from that. Any Help?

I'm using Gregg in my modpack just fine, your premise seems flawed.
