Is using public github repositories for modpack development ok

Given that you're the first result on google... yeah.
Easy to find if people know to look for you.

I guess it'll be 'ok' in the sense that no-one sees you do it, and it doesn't get out of control; a couple of pack teams keeping themselves hidden/not shouting about it shouldn't cause too much ruckus.
If everyone piles in and just does it without thinking- then we have a problem. [this'll probably happen eventually]

Heck - if you can keep your team hidden, then it no different to pinging emails about or throwing a hard drive across the room. If you chose a name that's unrelated to you or MC then the chances of someone random finding it is pretty small.

Not asking you to move everything across- but your thoughts on using Google Drive?
