I wish to spawn the quest ram... yet, there's no egg or spawner in the creative... has anyone figured out how to do this?

Cheat in a safari net, fly into twilight forest, cheat in the pieces to make a magic map, craft the map, fly until you locate a grove. Capture ram. Make sure you use MFR to spawn it in as an exact copy.
DW20 did a spotlight on MFR that can help you. If you have questions I'll edit this to include the video set.

So I tried your idea, and Quest Rams don't get caught by Safari Nets... I was so sad... Every other animal is fine getting caught by it though, which is nice.

Looks like the factory is doomed, until the quest ram temple starts to spawn a quest ram by itself, they are limited to one per mystic forest temple.
baaah lame... is there anyway to get the ram to my home? tried gravity gun, for some reason the ram seems to die when it leaves the forest. it's just strange to me that there's no way to work around this.

Depends on how it's coded.
If it HAS to be in a mystic forest biome or else it dies, then you'd have to get a mystic biome page for mystcraft (if it even exists) and build the zoo there.
If it's life is tied to being within X of where it spawns, you might be able to place the zoo at the same coordinates in another world.
It could be quite a few ways to kill it, each with the possibility of a work around, but no way to be sure.
Try going through a mystcraft crystal portal with it, and see if it'll live long enough to reach the other side.
