Hello, for the past three days I've been trying to get Shaders to play nicely with 1.5.2 but everything I tried to do have ended with a crash. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten Shaders to work.
(PS, Wasn't sure where this thread was suppose to go, so if its wrong feel free to move it.)

You are gonna need to post a crash report for people to know the fix. I personally, don't know jack about reading crash reports, it's just some advice. And also, why would you want shaders in FTB? FTB lags enough, why add one of the most CPU intensive mods out there (next to Soul Shards and XyCraft) in FTB?

I need the crash report? I thought it wasn't important for this. How do you post crash reports on the forums. My Feed The Beast doesn't lag at all when I play, just saying.

Well when you say it crashes its generally important to include the crash report.

Edit: just put it on paste bin and provide a link.

Well, it wasn't for the crash report I made this, it was to see if anyone got Shaders to work. I will try paste binning it later.

I saw a video of some guy playing Tekkit (1.2.5), asking why some of his shaders stopped working (A few people answered, but their solutions didn't work). In his more recent videos where he's playing Tekkit/FTB, he doesn't have any shaders at all.

Also, MPS does not play well with Optifine (crash upon startup). That may be the reasoning behind the crashes.

I am trying to get shaders working too, and i also experience a crash on startup. Here is the crash from the log.

There's a post around here on these forums somewhere that outlines the process for getting shaders to work. Click here. (I have it as a tinyurl because I use the link elsewhere.)

If there's one piece of advice I could offer at the risk of someone getting their jimmies in a jam, it would be to read the information in the link above slowly and carefully and follow it precisely. Both MPS custom render settings will likely need to be toggled off.

Here's a video of the shaders at work in a 1.5.2 world. It''s not an Unleashed world, but if there's a mod in Unleashed messing with the shaders that would be lame:

I've got it working, but the problem is that Optifine and Forge doesn't like each other, making you unable to climb ladders, vines etc..

That's a vanilla bug, I believe. There's no way around it.

I can say that shaders doesn't play nice with the Industrial Information Panel, it just has the background color and doesn't show the text on it. Also block of smokey quartz think they are leaves or water and move xD
