Get the 'Shutting down internal servers' error message whenever i try to log into singleplayer world

Whenever i create/ choose an existing world it loads, goes blank, and says ' Shutting down internal servers.' I've never even gotten to play!

Pls help
 
Please read the stickies before posting a help request. Particularly the part where it says 'logs or it didn't happen'. If you don't provide us with the error/crash log, we really can't help much.
