Game Crashing

Im trying to play sky factory 3 with friends and when I load up my game at first its fine but as I play it gets laggy and crashes the game or even my computer sometimes. I dont know if it has something to do with how much ram minecraft is using or something to do with the mod. Please help me.

Please post your crash log so we can better understand the issue that your game is having. You can find this if you:
open the FTB launcher,
Click on "My Modpacks",
Click the three dots on the top right when hovering over the Sky Factory 3 mod pack,
Click the orange Open Folder button on the right side,
Open the folder called "Crash-reports",
Open the latest crash text file; copy and paste all of the contents here: https://paste.feed-the-beast.com/ then posting the link here on your post.

Finally, please provide us with information about what you're playing the mod pack on. Operating system, amount of RAM, CPU and GPU information.

I'm playing the modpack on curse forge, The version of my operating system is 20H2 and the build is 19042.1052. I have 8GB of ram

Open Curse Forge Launcher
Click on My Modpacks
Click on the Picture of SkyFactory 3
Click the 3 dots next to the orange play button
Click open folder
Open the folder crash-reports
Open the latest text file

The error you are getting is EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) this means that Java is unable to read/write to the temporary memory (RAM).
You received this error because Minecraft "failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows"

There are many reasons that can cause this, try the following to fix(s):
Install the latest version of Java, you're many updates behind
I don't see a dedicated GPU on your logs so I'm assuming you're running Intel integrated graphics so update to the latest Intel Graphics Card Driver using the Intel Update Assistant
If those two things fail you can attempt opening the launcher as an admin

Thanks, one last question how much ram should I use to start up the the mod. My ram is 8G and the the ram i have is 3.3G

Giving it 3-4 gigs should be good for just about any modpack to run well.
