Details of the issue Http 403 forbidden

Hey all, Hope someone can shed some lite on a connection issue I have been running into... I can play the Vanilla version of the Minecraft game no issues, I recently expanded my ram from 6 GB to 8 Gb and installed the FTB Revelations mod pack how ever when I try to launch the game it crashes right away.

I followed a post on this site that explained how to launch with a .jar option and that produced a launch error style code of "403 forbidden" ill post the full error later today just wondering if anyone can shed some light on a solution to this problem
