game crashes when using nei & minimap has disappeared

hello everybody

i am using direwolf20s mod pack and my game crashes everytime i go to my crafting table and enter anything into the dialog box at the bottom of the screen. what gives?

it does say when i start my world "error written to nei-12-3-2013 at 15.40.7.424.txt" if that means anything

also when i started my game today my minimap is now missing. i dont know where i am. please help!

if you need any other info please let me know...
