I need you to try using a fresh server download first.
If a fresh server download works then it's most likely your player save or actual map save.
The chances of the host screwing something up is slim to none.

From my experience with bouncycastle errors, do you have -XX:MaxPermSize=128m in your additional Java Paramaters under advanced options on the options tab? Try adding that if not.

So, I made a brand new world, and it works perfectly. The last thing I remember doing before this all happened was accidentally shoot a portal at a redpower timer. Be careful! Thanks for your help by the way.
