Fusion Reactor: Worth it?

Hi lads,

So im on the path to build the fusion reactor....and its quite the journey Through my long journey however, i have come to the question of "What will i actually use this for?"

I have a solar array that produces nearly 4000 eu/t. While nowhere near a reactor, it goes above and beyond my EU needs.

The only thing i can think of is replacing my matter fab and producing faster iridium (or iridium at a more cost efficient ratio.)

So wow me people, tell me your elaborate setups so i may be inspirded to continue the quest for the fusion reactor

Besides roleplaying/fancy pretend builds, that all the fusion reactor will actually be good for, as you can use it to make a good deal of iridium cheaply especially if you constantly produce the Hydrogen Two and Hydrogen Three needed to make it run non-stop.

Then you'll need to make sure your scrap system can handle it.

Another thought, generate MFFS force energy without needing forcicium. This was one of my power-demanding ideas for a stack of 5 reactors.

I used mine to build a 2nd, will probably use it to make a 3rd and possibly a 4th as well. At that point the limiting factor is time spent clicking around. Off of 2, I already use the UU matter instead of quarries (for now, I'm sure I'll run out of something I can't UU up eventually). Then I plan to use it for a variety of uses, MFFS field(s) is one, giant-autocrafting-almost-anything with xycraft fabricators via UU-Matter is another. I dream of the day I can say, build me another fusion reactor and all the parts assemble themselves haha.

I have more ideas but you might get the point at this stage.

EDIT: I haven't been bothered to farm wither skulls yet so I don't have a portal gun still. So I use it to power telporters. I have some ideas for this in the future.

I just realized my power tower of reactors needs reworking now that we have Applied Energistics because it can be half the size!
