FTB Won't Launch

Hey everyone, hopefully someone can help me! Every time I load the launcher, in the console it says "[23:50:39] [ERROR] in Launcher TexturepackPane.updateTexturePacks:259->TexturePackLoader.run:58: null: java.lang.NullPointerException
net.ftb.gui.panes.TexturepackPane.updateTexturePacks(TexturepackPane.java:259)
net.ftb.gui.panes.TexturepackPane.onTexturePackAdded(TexturepackPane.java:221)
net.ftb.data.TexturePack.addTexturePack(TexturePack.java:65)
net.ftb.workers.TexturePackLoader.run(TexturePackLoader.java:50)"

I don't know why, FTB worked fun a little while ago, but now it won't at all.
I launch the FTB ultimate and then the program freezes, and says "not responding"
Some one please help if you can! Cause I am getting so frustrated.
 
Did you try just reinstalling FTB ultimate by deleting the the Ultimate folder, usually fixes startup errors. Not a bad idea to make a backup first though
 
Your issue isn't related to the texturepacks, there's no indication of what's wrong in the log you posted. Try reinstalling java.

Yes, but that's an issue with the launcher loading texturepacks in the texturepack pane and isn't related to minecraft launching.
 
Where do you have the launcher and modpacks installed? If you did not follow this guide when you (re)installed then please follow it exactly. Once that is done please post a new console log to pastebin.com
