FTB wierd black terrain?

That looks like lighting errors.

I have no idea why they're appearing in a plains biome, since they usually only appear when there's blocks above. Very odd.

Try placing and breaking blocks over the dark grass, that should fix it.


Look up and see if there's any floating islands above the plains, if there are then that would explain the lighting errors.

If breaking a block doesn't fix it and you're on a server just log out and log back in. That fixes them most of the time. Single player would work the same way I'm assuming only you'd be exiting and saving.
