Ok so i know that Unstable gets limited support and server files aren't provided but i'm hoping someone will have some experience with the new 1.10 Unstable in server form and can help me with this issue.

Ok so here goes, i got forge, installed the server, moved over the mods minus the client side ones, changed the eula, ran the server, Cursed Botania for using a newer version of Forge, installed the updated version. The server started normally with no obvious errors. When i tried to connect to the server, i got a nice "Fatally missing blocks and items". Well that's fun, thanks. After some searching i found where to look for what it was missing. and i find this:

[14:55:29] [Netty Client IO #1/DEBUG] [FML/]: Missing list: [solarfluxreborn:solar5, solarfluxreborn:solar4, solarfluxreborn:solar3, solarfluxreborn:solar2, solarfluxreborn:solar1, solarfluxreborn:solar0, solarfluxreborn:solar5, solarfluxreborn:solar4, solarfluxreborn:solar3, solarfluxreborn:solar2, solarfluxreborn:solar1, solarfluxreborn:solar0, quark:glass_shards, charsetaudio:tape, charsetaudio:tapeReel, charsetaudio:tapeMagnetic, charsetaudio:tapeDrive]
[14:55:29] [Netty Client IO #1/DEBUG] [FML/]: Next: ERROR

After verifying that the versions and file sizes were identical between my client and the server, i of course just disabled the mods in both locations and of course it dropped them out. My question is, if the mod files are the same between both Client and server, and in fact were copied from the client files, why are some blocks in those 3 mods supposedly missing from my client? Has anyone run into this when creating an Unstable (oh boy is it ever XD) Server instance?

The forge question is a good one, i'll have to check and see what version unstable is currently running. I may have gone to a more recent version for the server

Ok i am SUPER salty, so much that EtherSalt™ should now be a real product. So neither the forge nor the addition of the files to the config fixed the problem, however this made me look at the configs a bit more. As it turned out the mods were generating DIFFERENT configs with what i guess are default options, though they were disabling blocks on the server that were enabled on the client. once i copied over the configs for Quark, Charset, and Solarflux, it all worked fine. Thanks for the insight and assistance all.
