FTB Unleashed problem - Assembly Table

Ok, so the problem is that when I try to connect my assembly table to my main power source (MJs/Redstone energy conduits) it doesn't connect to the AT. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or I'm missing something. Some help would be very appreciated. Oh and here's a screenshot to show what's happening.

You power the lasers, not the table.

the lasers in turn power the table.

To add to that, each laser can provide 4 mj/t worth of power to the table and it has a 4 block range.
