FTB Ultimate Set up

hello all, i do apologize if this topic has been posted elsewhere in the forums. my search did not yield any results on this topic.

i just ordered a "zombie" server from creeperhost and i am looking to set up the Ultimate FTB modpack on my server. i can get the server to work with vanilla, but dont have a clue as to how to get Ultimate FTB installed. i have File Zilla and have watched some small tutorials on Creeper's site as to how to upload and all of that stuff. My question is, what would i need to upload to my server to make it an Ultimate FTB server?

just upload and launch the FTB Ultimate server .jar the same way you do the vanilla jar.

If you are using the creeperhost CP, there might be a place where you specify what jar you want to launch (vanilla, ftb, bukkit, etc)

Put in a support ticket to them and they can walk you through the proper way to use their CP in that regaurd.

Or he could just use the one click install feature we support.

oh hell, i forgot to reply. i found the one click install feature that Luke said. and its running like a champ, untill it crashed but it was only down for about 1 minute.

Yeah xD Ultimate will do that, it's an error with Mystcraft and Secret rooms, you could drop secret rooms for stability tbh.

secret rooms? lol... im a total noob, i have no clue as to what that is. also, i went to restart a new world with my server so i installed a different jar, then reinstalled the ultimate.jar and now its telling me that the jar isnt available at this time and to wait 5 minutes. did this change nearly 2 hrs ago and its still telling me this.

here is what the error says:

Your minecraft server jar is currently unavailable, if you recently installed a jar from the jar changer, please wait 5 minutes, otherwise please rename your jar or reinstall and ensure it is named 'craftbukkit.jar' to continue.


but im not attempting to use "craftbukkit.jar"?

ok folks i have submitted a ticket on my situation, and really have no clue as to what my problem is, i even went as far as deleting all of the directories under the minecraft folder via FTP program and uploaded my own FTB but to no avail.

the issue that i am running into, is that only the "recommended" jars will download and install on my server, but NONE of the others will install. when i click install it locks my browser into a endless "connecting loop" have let it set in this connection loop for atleast 2 hrs today and it will not install. the recommended jars install in about 45 seconds, if it even takes that long. and since i deleted all of the directories and now i cant get anything to work lol.
