So recently I grabbed a 60GB SSD and installed Ubuntu Server 12.04. Then I installed java, and downloaded the Ultimate Server zip file, unpacked it, and ran a server fine for about a week. Then, out of nowhere, the server won't send out data to anyone on the server. Because I'm in the same internet connection, I can still use the server, but everyone else can't see if they're doing anything. They can break a block, but it takes about 2 minutes for them to get the block from the area. This is a major problem, and I can't explain why at all, I have tried many things that include:
Resetting the router
Resetting the world
Re-installing the server
Adding Ram
Reducing Ram
Hosting a different server form another computer in my network (To check if my ISP (Comcast) was being a jerk.(How they reserve to shut out ports if they find its commercial use)) (This worked, its not the ISP)
and much more.
I'm running out of options here and I need some help. The server has up to 3GB of RAM at its disposal, out of the 4 total. Keep in mind that everything worked for about a week.
Thanks for any help,
Marcus
