FTB Ultimate Pack - Could not find lan server

Back then when we just used the Minecraft server to connect to a network server. It worked fine~

Where we first used Feed the beast, It was fine.

Today we wanted to use Feed the Beast with its new Ultimate pack for 1.4.7. Seems I cannot find the server my brother had setup. And directly connecting does not work.

We tried using Minecraft by itself to connect, Nothing.

I'm not sure what my brother went through to see what was causing what. But I can only guess its our router, or somethings up with MC and FTB MC as of late.

We can exchange files normally. We can go online and offline. Even hamachi chat windows allows us to talk together.

So I am not sure what is the problem here. Would anyone have some advice I could take to get this to work?

Having the same problem- my friend can't connect to my LAN server, nor I to his? Weird....Help meh guys

Router/network issue. Can't help you there sorry. Someone else may be able to

Im not an expert, but this sounds more like a firewall issue to me.
Are any of you using a firewall? And if so, what firewall?
And have you tried using local ip to connect? And hamachi ip?
