Windows .jar FTB Ultimate: Mouse key opens menu issue

I recently purchased a Mad Catz R.A.T. 3 mouse, it's a gaming mouse so it hard sides buttons I can bind things to. Right now my MOUSE4 is my speak button for TeamSpeak3. However everytime I use it while playing Feed The Beast Ultimate it opes the ESC menu. Is there a way to change this without having to change my TeamSpeak3 speak key?

Same issue, my fix for MutliMC or default launcher is to ALT+TAB hold mouse button then click return to game whilst holding mouse button.

The 'fix' does not work on FTB Launcher.

Edit: To fix follow this and install http://sourceforge.net/projects/java-game-lib/files/Official Releases/LWJGL 2.8.4/ (perhaps newer versions work but this one mentioned in the thread did it.
