Windows .exe FTB ultimate lags on fairly good laptop

Hello, i have a problem. FTB ultimate is lagging on my laptop, but it shouldn't. I get like 15-20 fps. Laptop specs:

Asus K56CM
i7-3537U @ 3.1 GHz 2-core hyperthreading enabled
Geforce GT 635M R331 game ready driver
15.6" 1366x768
12GB Ram
500GB HDD
Windows 7 64-bit
Java 7 update 45 64-bit

Tried installing Optifine, didn't help. Restarted, didn't help. Installed whole FTB launcher again, didn't help. Any suggestions please?

How much RAM do you have allocated to FTB?

2GB minimum 6GB maximum

And you have for sure not used up all of your 500GB Hard Drive.
I'm not good at graphic cards, but almost every card should work fine.
I do know some tricks to speed up even more...

here's something that may help, though it does require some work.
I've the same problem when playing modded minecraft with launchers like FTB, MultiMC or ATLauncher, getting around 15-20FPS, though with the latest update of the FTB launcher I can now get about 40FPS
BUT if I load the modlists through the vanilla launcher, I get full FPS which is around 120-150FPS

so try loading the modpack you want to play through the vanilla launcher and see if that helps anything with your FPS

Thank you guys for suggestions, I found that by default Minecraft uses integrated graphics, instead of nVidia/AMD card. So I launched FTB with my nVidia graphics card, and my FPS doubled! Thanks!
