Hello.

Our servers worked until today. Today get a bigger lagg and stopped (no log, no crash). We restart it and:

Nobody can join to our server. Get these errors. Any idea how can we fix it? We havent got any problem with our server until today. :S
Please, help us.

I'm not a server guy..... Just a heads up...

  • Did you update the server?
  • Can you post the logs?
  • Did the Computer your using as a server update?

No updates as I said. Nothing. Its run perfect until yesterday. No changes, no updates, nothing. The log is the same what i put here. Nothing else. Start normally but cant connect. If somebody would like to join to the server this appear:

2013-04-05 18:07:32 [INFO] [STDERR] java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Nothing else.

No problem with the server it starts normally but only cant join. We've got a tekkit, dw20, and bukkit servers. They are ok. The problem is only with FTB Ultimate.

So what that basically means is that you are losing connection to the Server because of lag.

Put it this way:

Every player in a server sends PINGS to the host.
The host receives the PINGS and sends out PONGS .
The Players receive the PONGS.

The cycle repeats.

If this cycle doesn't repeat fast enough you get disconnected.
Considering that this happens for every player, its your connection. Probably bandwidth.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet?
My server is experiencing this.
I can sometimes play just normal for hours, but then, randomly, no-one can join, and the server keeps giving this error

  1. Is this a paid for hosted server or a buddies? i.e. is somebody going through a company such as creeperrepo or is it john down the street running it on his extra computer?
  2. What OS is the server?
  3. What is the dedicated UP/Down Link for the server
  4. Your Internet speed?
  5. What country is the server hosted in?
  6. What country are most of the people connecting to it from? (or just you if you don't know. Apx. #'s are ok)
  7. Hm.... any other odd bit of info you might be able to give?

2. Centos 6.0
3. 100mbps up/down
4. same, as i host it in the basement
5. Netherlands

So i guess its a problem with enderstorage :/

Oh yeah, I've had that before as well. We fixed it (if I remember correctly) by NBTediting all the ender tanks out of our inventories.

Removing Ender Storage could work, but it didn't for some reason when we tried it. It may be that all the chunks with ender tanks have to be loaded, and all the players with an ender tank in their inventory have to log in. I'm pretty sure that's how that works. Maybe...

I figured that it works, but certain things like applied energetics storage machines will keep the data value, so if you put it back in, its back.
And the TileENtityies for t anks and chets in the world jsut get skipped.
This means that they wont load, but once the mod is back, they will.

Im just leaving the mod off right now, since we can use tessaracts.

I guess you could lock the topic, since im allready stealing it :)
