I searched around a little but didn't find anything helpful... Does anyone know what the story is with the final 1.4.7 recommended release of ultimate? Near as I can tell, 1.0.1 is still the recommended version. I've tried the other four versions in the launcher, and when I try to open a SP world that was created with 1.0.1 with any of them, I get a bunch of mismatch warnings, mostly surrounding GregTech. Does anyone know what these errors pertain to?

I never select Recommended. I always select the newest version. Especially once a pack is effectively "dead" with regards to development. There aren't supposed to be any newer versions so 1.1.2 seems like the recommended to me.
I've manually selected 1.0.1 rather then recommended for quite some time now to be sure it doesn't try to auto update...
When I try to load a SP world that was created with 1.0.1, I get the following:
If I say yes, it loads the world and all *seems* ok, and if I say no, it horribly hangs the client so I have to kill Java...
