1. You forgot to tell us the RAM.
2. There is Sphax 512x only for vanilla Minecraft. Sphax for FTB Unleashed is only 128x (as you can read here).
3. Yes, with the Java arguments from here and 128x Sphax (that's the only one available) you can get a high quality Feed The Beast experience.
I recommend you also get Optifine HD Ultra. It's not only for performance:
You need Optifine to properly use Sphax.
You can use Optifine for antialiasing, anisotropic filtering, etc.

The 128x of sphax is more than enough for minecraft. You will need 8gb of ram to use a 128x pack and maybe more.

I would not recommend optfine as it does not work well with forge mods.

Would you like to know specs that can run Minecraft, and that texture pack (Or any texture pack ever?)

  • x1 Dual Intel Xeon Server Motherboard
  • x2 Intel Xeon E5630
  • x12 16GB PC3-10600 RAM
  • x3 GeForce GTX TITAN

I don't get less the 140 fps, no matter the settings, or the texture pack.

Read and weep please :D

And there is 512x Sphax. It is in your link...

That's for vanilla Minecraft only.
If you download that and just throw it in your /texturepacks/ folder, you would have HD vanilla blocks and items (dirt, stone, diamond etc.) but all mod machines 16x;
Example:
GauNSPz.png

Half of it is 128x HD, the other half isn't. You will have to get user-made patches for mods. And you won't find (m)any 512x patches...
