Good luck on your LP, since it is your first time playing with mods I can recommend to start slowly with mods, most mods are very end game. I can recommend to start with either factorisation or industrial craft. Buildcraft and Forrestry are great item sources of rescources. But best of luck to you!

Yeah! that is the same reason Im playing FTB, Mindcrackers. also I like this mod because you dont know what the hell to do, thats the best part, exploring, discovering new things
