Windows .exe FTB shuts down when downloading FM2

Hello~

After numerous attempts to make it work and ending up unsuccessful, I come to request some help.

Operating System, bit type: Windows 7, 64 bits
Java version/update, bit type: Java 7 update 45
Anti-malware software: Avast
Location you're downloading from: Downloading what from? I'm downloading FTB from the FTB website and I do this from Montreal/Canada area.
Launcher version: 1.3.1
Completed the troubleshooting guide (y/n): Yes and many times...

I think the having special characters, like the one I have highlighted above, in your install location can cause issues.
