Ftb server prevents friends from joining my server?!?

Title Ftb server prevents friends from joining my server?!?

Details of the issue When i run my server the server will start and i (the host) am able to join using localhost connect. However anyone attempting to join via the ip can not. I see in the server cmd when it is run that it says prevent join = true. I have tried to fix this for several days now but with no luck :/. Any help would be greatly appreciated
