FTB-Server performance

Hello,
i have a Feed The Beast - Infinity Evolved(2.5.0) Server on my Dedicated Root. And the Server start to lag since a few days ago. I saw the Server uses mostly just one Core. It is possible that FTB use more cores or another way to improve the performance ? I already changed the max Ram to 32GB.

Server Informations:
OS: Debian 8 Jessie x64
CPU: Intel i7 4790k - 4 Cores @ 4 GHz
RAM: 32 GB DDR3
120 GB SSD
Internet Connection: 100Mbit/s Up and Down.
Java Version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_77-b03)

Complain to Mojang for the fact that Minecraft uses mostly one core, FTB can't do anything about that sadly enough.
As for your performance issue, are you sure your server needs 32 GB of RAM allocated? More does not equal to better, and in the case of java can even hurt performance when we are talking about RAM.

Sure, but its just the maximum of RAM, the curent usage is about 4GB
