Hello! I've been running tekkit, technic, ftb, and ATL packs for a long time so i'm not new to server running. But recently my computer shut off during an update and fried the OS so I had to reinstall the operating system. This changed my IP address and undid all the work I had done to get my computer to host servers. So i've forwarded the port 25565 and i've uninstalled hamachi (heard it was shit :p ) and i've disabled my firewall but nothing is working. One thing I DO know is that when I go to www.canyouseeme.org/ it says it cannot see me no matter what port I set it to (not sure if that's helpful). I know for a fact that this is not a client issue as it is happening to many of my friends and I also know that it is not a modded server issue because I can play just fine if I use "localhost" as a direct connect option. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated and if you need any additional details I'd be happy to give them. Thanks in advance.

Make sure you don't have two rules for 25565. Also if you have SAT or NAT on the router turned on they may override your personal settings.

I'm using a malaysian router but as far as I can tell I only have one port forwarded for anything and that's minecraft.

Well what OS is your server running on? I would double and tripple check the port forwarding as that should be the only issue (unless your on windows you might just need to run it as admin)

I'm using windows and how do I know if there's something wrong with the way I did it? I just followed the instructions on a good website and left it at that.

If its not working then you know there is something wrong. I would check using a vanilla server just to make sure something else is not causing the issue.

Well it is either something with a firewall or ports not forwarded correctly. Have you tried reseting your router?
