FTB Revelation MASSIVE amount of errors on server startup

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

We get random server crashes and slow downs.
1. As the title says, there are a MASSIVE amount of errors on server startup. Some are yellow cautions, some are red errors.
2. The errors occurred before I added 3 more mods to the server. We can talk about that in a sec LOL
3. Buildcraft facades can't be made. Why?
4. I added 3 more mods to the server: additionalpipes, treecapacitor (and it's dependent mod [1.12]bspkrsCore-universal-7.6.0.1) I researched that all 3 mods I added are compatible with 1.12.2
5. Random client crashes due to Java issues. My Java 8 is fine.

Question ... what log file would be the best to post to see if someone can help with the start-up errors, client Java errors/crashes, and server crashes?

1 - As long as the errors doesn't actually cause any issues, those can be ignored
2 - See answer for 1
3 - Might be a recipe conflict - have you tried single player vs. on the server, is the issue at both scenarios?
4 - OK - adding mods actually changes the pack and might cause issues
5 - OK (there might be issues with the installation, there might be other software causing issues, 3rd party antivirus is a common issue and need to be handled with exceptions etc.)

Regardless of what you think is ok or what is not, if you need further help - please provide full logs from both client and server, and use https://paste.feed-the-beast.com and share the links to the logs here.
(get the logs after the client crashes, not before).

../logs/latest.log <--- that one

Also share the output from terminal/cmd:
java -version

Thank you for the reply.

** UPDATE ** this error just happened as I logged in => RL https://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/4ba6e9e8
** I appeared in my house and I looked out a window to see sme mobs I wanted to shoot. I ran upstairs to the balcony to get a clear shot, held the button to draw the bow, released the bow and nothing happened. No arrows came out. I tried that twice and then I knew the server had crashed.

Here's the latest.log from the crash above => https://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/22302bd5

Here's the Java version from cmd:
java version "1.8.0_241"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_241-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.241-b07, mixed mode)

I'll post the Java error when I get another one.
I'll check single player to see if the BC facades are available.

The log from your server states java 8.111 - but the result that you pasted here suggests that you should have 8.241 installed.

Can you please provide information about this?

Is it different machines?

And where's the full log from the client?

Can you also answer this: Do you have any 3rd party antivirus on that machine?

There's only one server. Only one machine.
**** UPDATE We got the server up to Java 8 - 251 and I restarted the server.

Another server crash about an hour after the last one I posted. Here's the latest.log => URL https://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/1f1fbfa6
Minecraft server crash report => URL https://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/994ae27e

Here is the most recent CLIENT crash report => URL https://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/8eb6ad2a

**** UPDATE No antivirus running on the server.

Regarding the BuildCraft facades, that I said I couldn't craft, I believe they're made in the BC Assembly table and not in the regular crafting table so that's probably why I couldn't craft them. My bad. I'm stupid.

According to the log your server is using java 8.111 and you only allocated 2gb of ram.

Check the java installation + allocate at least 4gb of ram to the server.

Did the client crash at the same time as the server crashed?

I'm not asking for the client crash-report unless it actually did crash at the same time, I'm more curious about the full log from the client at the time of server crash.

Does the server crash when a specific player joins is online - or is it regardless?

This crash came after Hattrix22 joined, and Dragonwingz1966 had been online for a few minutes.

If it only crashes when Hattrix22 joines (or the otherway), then the issue is close to the players location - mob farm that's bugged, overflowing with items or likewise.

I'll see about when it crashes regarding who's in / joining and let you know.

We have a chicken farm with only 15 or so chickens. (Is that too many too have?)
We also have a cow farm with a variable number of cows, but usually never more than 20. (Is that too many too have?)

Not so much the number, more if there's a bugged block/mob at that area.

That crash is due to graphics issue, try without the resource pack and see if you stop crashing your client.

TWO issues just popped up .......
Not a crash, but a wall of red errors.
I believe I lost my home internet connection when this happened.
latest.log => URL https://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/d1064d48 The copy/paste website isn't generating a URL after I paste the text in. It seems to be too much text for it to handle so I just took the last little bit.

This crash is a server crash:
latest.log => URL https://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/6d8d594e I had to only take the bottom portion of the text because the tool wouldn't generate a URL with SO much text.
Minecraft Crash log => URL https://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/4e4deb3e

CLIENT CRASH
I was looking at the server log and it's LOADED with a yellow warning about "keeping a chicken entity". So I decided to kill all of the chickens in our pen (about 15) to see if one of those chickens was bugged. I shot them all and jumped into the pen to collect the XP and my client crashed.
