I've had Revelation 3.4 downloading all night and I noticed this morning it was still stuck on "Get Forge Information". I opened task manager and noticed that Overwolf wasn't even trying to access the files. Both the network and disk sit at 0 mbps with an occasional jump to 0.1 mbps. I have nothing open other than the FTB App and Task Manager. Overwolf should have no problem. Is there a way I can fix this?

Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

I had this issue briefly. I'm no expert and won't be able to debug your situation, but perhaps my situation might lend insight.
I didn't want to clog my M.2 with the minecraft and FTB instance install (reserved for OS and certain heavyweight software I run), so I set up a symbolic link from my SSD.
I saw the .ftba\instance folder not creating expected files. Moving things to that folder required admin privileges, so I took a stab in the dark and guessed FTB App would need admin privileges to write as well. Solved my problem immediately.
