FTB Retro problem

Thought I'd try out the challenge map, but have problem with the install.
I have no sound (apart from the radio in the start area), and no NEI. I can see it is loaded though.
Will be a bigger challenge trying to remember all the recipes without it.

Anyway I can fix both issues?

For NEI, press o (letter) to open it up.

As for the sound, no idea.

Ah, ok. Sound seems to be alright now. Dunno what was up with that.

This map is annoying. I've restarted it 4 times now (quicker then waiting 5 mins for the save)

First attempt, serious muffed up the cobble gen, turned my lava in obsidian.
second attempt, fell out of the world climbing back up the water
third attempt, fell off the start platform when placing water

Sounds like you're having fun. I can't wait until they have a map like this for 1.4.x.

Getting there, 4 lights up. Need to work out how to use Forestry stuff, which I've never done. Need to do a bit of reading up. All good.

Worse parts so far are the initial cobblegen, and building a mob farm.
