i recently re-downloaded FTB Retro SSP (playing the insanity map) on the legacy launcher, since it seems to be broken on the twitch launcher.
but it is rather laggy, i have some stuttering every few seconds. which is not enjoyable.
i bought a 1,200€ PC a year ago. with a Ryzen 5 x1600 and 16GB Ram.
back in the times of FTB retro, i had a much much much weaker PC, but it ran much smoother than today.
is there a way to fix that lagging?
i tried the "use optimization arguments for fast computers" option in the legacy browser. didnt really work.
would an old java version help? if so, which one? and can i even use an older version while still having a new version installed for modern modpacks on the twitch launcher?
