FTB randomly closing mid-game

Details of the issue:
Reoccuring issue, even after reinstalling installer and modpack. Launcher will run fine, game will start up, I'll enter single or multiplayer worlds and everything will be fine for anywhere from 1 to 15 minutes, and then the whole game will close without warning. Sometimes triggered by searching items in the inventory, sometimes from attempting to open a chest. Allocating 4gb of RAM when I start up.​
