FTB permissions issue

Hello all.

This is my first time renting a minecraft server for me and my friends. We are playing FTB infinity evolved.
The server is rented on gameservers and uses McMyAdmin for configuration.

I'm having trouble understanding which permissions "pack,plugin" i should use. I have been googling but can't find a solution. According to the provider of the server i should check this guide : https://clients.fragnet.net/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=74

However if I try to install CraftBukkit i get the following message: http://i.imgur.com/Cw7Uv1O.png

So I am trying to figure out what the hell i am supposed to do

A list of the questions in my head:

• Should i try to install the CraftBukkit plugin via ftp?
• Is Craftbukkit not the pluging that i need? keep in mind i'm running FTB infinity evolved.
• Can i ignore McMyAdmin and work solely with ftp to manage permissions and plugins? (pretty sure this is a yes)
• Which plugin suits best for FTB infinity evolved?

Some extra info and history around permissions plugins and which ones there are and what they are for would be appreciated. While googling i kinda got lost since i'm pretty new to the whole server part of minecraft.

To run Bukkit plugins with Infinity Evolved you need to use Thermos, https://cyberdynecc.github.io/Thermos/install. After that you can use any permission plugin you want.
