Hello everyone! I'm having some problems with my FTB performance, my fps is like 15~30, vanilla minecraft is usually 150 fps.

My notebook specs are i7, 8 gb ram, geforce 630m(1Gb), windows 7 64 bit, java 64 and I have optifine.

I'm trying to allocate like 4 GB and it does not change anything! Can someone tell me if it is normal or not?

Thank you for your att and sorry for my bad english! :D

firstly, don't allocate 4GB, i run a desktop that is allocated to 1GB and i can get about 1000fps on low settings
secondly, make sure that VSync is off, this limits the FPS to the refresh rate of the monitor.
thirdly, could you give us a run down on what video settings you are using.

btw. one way that can increase the speed of FTB is by going to Ctrl+Alt+Delete>Task Manager>Right-click Java Platform SE Binary>Go to Process>Set Priority>High

I've experienced this problem before myself. My problem was that FTB wasn't using my graphics card. You can easily fix this by renaming the Feed the Beast launcher to minecraft.exe. This annoyed me, so I put the launcher in another folder and had a shortcut to it called Feed the Beast.
